What is a FIN pallet used for?
The FIN pallet is a standard-size, low wooden pallet used mainly in Finland for storing and transporting goods. Pallets make loading and unloading easier and faster in both road and rail transport, and they make handling goods in warehouses more efficient. Pallets can be standard exchange pallets or one-way pallets. We also supply pallet collars.
The FIN pallet is a reliable choice for many industries. The main parts of a pallet are the top deck, the blocks and the bottom deck. In a wooden pallet, the blocks (or one long block) and the bottom board form a runner. Most pallets have three runners, small one-way pallets two. The top deck is usually a row of parallel boards, typically 5 to 9 boards, and more on large one-way pallets. Standard pallets have generous gaps between the deck boards, but solid-deck pallets are also made.
